–Composition:
Each Mediopan tablet contains 10 mg Scopolamine (Hyoscine-N-butyl-bromide).
Properties:
Mediopan effectively and specifically suppresses spasms of the digestive and ureogenital systems.
There are no central effects.
It does not have the side effects of atropine in the therapeutic dosages.
Indications:
Spasms and hypermotility of G.I. tract:
Gastritis, peptic ulcers, spasms of the esophagus, cardia or pylorus, spastic constipation, diarrhea, post operative and post anesthesia nausea and vomiting, spasms after abdominal surgery.
Spasms and dyskinesia of the biliary ducts:
Cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholelithiasis, and in acute pancreatitis.
Spasms in the urinary tract:
Urolithiasis and renal colic.
Spasms of the female genital tract:
Dysmenorrhea, adnexitis, parametritis, and in post-partum pain.
Contraindications:
Glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, tachycardia, and mega-colon.
In pregnancy Mediopan should only be given with the physician approval.
Side effects:
Rare at therapeutic doses but includes: constipation, dryness of mouth and drowsiness.
Drug interactions:
Mediopan effect may be enhanced by the concurrent administration of tricyclic antidepressants.
Dosage & Administration:
1-3 tablets daily.

2 blisters each one contains 10 tablets/carton box.
